Tell us about your job at Fluid Truck.
I am a Customer Care Agent III, and I’ve been here for 2.5 years. I help take care of customers on the phone, answer emails, help with internal channels, do ID reviews, and that kind of fun stuff.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I've been here for awhile, and i've found that what i enjoy the most is when I come across problems that involve a lot of departments, something that's complicated in every departments likfe, i love to create solutions and find them and involve the whole team.
When you aren’t working, what are you usually doing?
I watch a lot of movies and series. I'm a big fan of that. I'm also a musician, I compose music all the time! All silly songs.
Do you have any secret talents?
I can belly dance! The belly wave. Even backwards. More a secret than a talent -- now it's spoiled!
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It's okay if you don't know. And it's okay if you say if you don't know –– just own it, and know next time if needed. It's fine, you don't need to get stressed because nobody has all the answers at all times.
If you could have a Fluid Truck full of one thing, what would it be?
Money! But it makes me sound bad. Maybe food... or like 10 more customer care agents to help out!
Do you have a favorite quote?
I'm gonna go with a classic --- Samwise Gamgee --- “There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for.”
What motivates you at work?
I like solving problems that cross the whole company, that affect several departments. What motivates me in that regard is when I get to talk to people and see how it affects them. All the departments have fantastic people. When a problem is ruining someone's life, I love to be in touch and find out these sorts of things and get to work on them.
If you had a TED Talk, what would it be about?
The Power Nap --- you can be CEO of a company or a customer service agent. It's a way to restart whenever you need to. I started doing it when I was studying psychology and it's always helped me. 20 minutes is the ideal length. If you can take into account how long you take to fall asleep , you can add that.
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
I'll say movies... I've seen ALL THE MOVIES THERE ARE. I like the horror genre. I like them all -- good horror movies, bad horror movies, boring ones, terrible ones, I'll watch them all. I waste my life watching tv. My favorite one recently was Poor Things and Beau is Afraid. All the A24 productions are simply amazing, they're doing such a good job.
What would you tell someone who wants to come work at Fluid Truck?
It's a big world! I think that you don't realize by the job description –– you see a tech company that rents vehicles. But it doesn't even touch what the reality is. The amount you can do at Fluid Truck. I think that's fantastic. You won't get bored.
